Who We Are

The concept is simple...a group of business people, who meet for breakfast once a week to support one another and to help each member grow his or her business. However, while the concept is simple, when done correctly the results can be quite powerful.

Deb Villarese, local networking guru, began Leading the Way in 1999 as a non-fee-based group. In other words, the only cost to the members is the cost of breakfast. However, the adage "you get what you pay for" does not seem to work in this instance. The members, who regularly attend have formed business bonds and relationships, have grown their businesses, have found goods and services they need and, in many cases, have forged lasting personal friendships.

The featured events each week are informational talks by the members, who provide insights into their business, and may also provide useful and interesting information about their type of business or business in general.

How To make your own "Photoshop" images.

• MS paint works in a pinch, but people can tell you did it in MS paint.
• Photoshop, if you have it, a family member has it, you have access to a library that has it, etc. works nicely, has many online tutorials, even many videos.
• GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, is an open source program (read: free) that is compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows. its engine is just as powerful as Photoshop's, but is not as polished.
From this point on, I assume you didn't spend any money, but don't want your logo to look like MS paint.
Step 1: download GIMP. http://www.gimp.org
